Terms differ by market and change. Every figure below names the market it applies to, and most of what follows is Philippine-market data because that is where these models are most cross-shopped.

Worth knowing if you are cross-shopping our two pillars: these 4x4 warranties run 3–5 years whole-vehicle, while EV battery warranties on the electric side typically run 8–10 years on the battery specifically. They are not comparable terms — one is a broad short warranty, the other a narrow long one.

Why is a 4x4 warranty shorter than an EV battery warranty?
They cover different things. An EV battery warranty is a long, narrow guarantee on one very expensive component, typically 8 to 10 years. A 4x4 warranty is a shorter, broader whole-vehicle term, typically 3 to 5 years. If you are cross-shopping between the two pillars, do not read the headline year count as like-for-like.
